In (this book), neuroscience, psychology and spirituality find a common home, offering a place to come in from a hectic life. (This book) presents an intriguing approach to transforming a disconnected way of living with stress into a richer, more integrated way of being.

I love the neuroscience and the way Don Goewey has put it together in laymen’s terms. He shows us how to live the attitude that builds a powerful brain, so we can succeed at what really matters to us. It is absolutely excellent.

Mysticism for the scientist; science for the mystic — Don Goewey puts it all together to unlock our potential for peace.

The principles and concepts contained in Goewey’s work are all part of a training program Don Goewey has presented at Los Angeles County Sheriff ’s Department. My employees and I have found real value with his approach to transcending stress and actualizing more of our innate potential to succeed in life.

Outside Magazine had me take Don’s coaching course and then write about it for the annual health issue.  I was stressed with the usual problems and deadlines of a journalist and skeptical that his course could possibly work. Three weeks into my effort, I’d become faster at recognizing troubling thoughts and much better at maintaining a calm, pragmatic mind-set. It was easier to solve problems, which made them less stressful. Even my stomachaches disappeared.

CORPORATE

“It was one of the best trainings I’ve ever taken. For me the most important learning is the tools I learned how to use: the Thought Awareness, Stop and Stand Still, the Clear Button, and Pre-Attitude.”

“We work in a high-pace, stressful environment at Cisco. To be able to remind myself daily that I am in control, regardless of the tasks in front of me, will make me a better employee.”

“This training has changed my life! That sounds dramatic, but in the past few days, my whole perspective and approach has been dramatically different. I am making a conscious effort to shift my attitude and approach to all that I do. So far, it has given me such peace and hope. It is really a healing and inspiring course. As a highly trained cardiac nurse, I have heard many different  approaches to stress management and actualization of total wellness, but none of them reached me the way this has.”

HOSPITALS

“The whole thing was outstanding! Don’s ability to get to the core of what, I think, all of us were struggling with, was amazing. I felt like he really understood what I was going through and was speaking to me directly. And, what he said made sense and each week I had a way to deal with life differently. Most importantly, IT MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY DAILY LIFE!”

“I was freaking out at the beginning of this course and had a sense of grace in my life at the end and that was because of this course and the tools I learned!”

GOVERNMENT

“During the past week, my stress level has been high due to health issues. If it were not for the class, it would probably be off the chart. Utilizing the exercises actually provided a huge improvement in my stress level during this time.”

“This course has the ability to engage us all in the formation of our best selves and to that end I hope this course flourishes in all venues.”
